Tuition is given one-to-one, each session lasting one hour. Every lesson is carefully tailored to the needs of the student and the texts being studied. This helps to build confidence and ensures steady progress towards the end goal. I try to communicate my enthusiasm for the subject and to make tutorials enjoyable as well as productive.

Homework is essential for those students studying exclusively with me, but for those at school it is optional. Homework is designed individually for each student but will usually focus on improving planning and writing skills, extending reading or practising exam tasks.
